Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. Here you will find previous sessions, words of encouragement and possibly a meatball sandwich recipe.

Welcome!

Amanda and Steve | Lynden Farm | Wedding | Purcellville, Virginia |

Sep 19, 2019

The first time I met Amanda and Steve was at their wedding, but it felt like seeing friends who I hadn’t seen in a while.

Amanda and I share a mutual friend from church, Bethanie. Some of you will recognize Bethanie in these photos 😉 Bethanie is sometimes my partner in crime (AKA my second photographer) on wedding days. Since Bethanie was a bridesmaid for Amanda, she gave her my info and we connected.

Through our consult, I learned Amanda and Steve’s reception venue happened to be where my daughter has horseback riding lessons. Their ceremony location? Y’all, Fort Bacon. When Amanda told me that, I knew it was going to be an awesome wedding right then and there. Over the course of a few months, I got to know this couple through emails and – of course- being Instagram friends.

What I love about this couple is their love for their friends and family, faith in each other, and ultimately their faith in the Lord. I loved following their adventures on Instagram as their wedding drew close; the packing up of Amanda’s apartment, the family candids, and large groups of friends surrounding them the day before.

It was an amazing wedding; Steve’s reaction was the cutest and the light during family portraits was the best I’ve ever seen.

Congratulations, Amanda and Steve! May the Lord bless your marriage; we love because He first loved us.

We had to switch fields because they kept photobombing us…

After dinner, we went back to the field for sunset portraits where the photobombing continued.
