Since COVID all but wiped out my weddings last year, I went back to my first love of brand photography and that is how I met Jennifer of Bell Home Organizing. We had a great time last year photographing for her blog, website, and newsletter! I’ve enjoyed watching her grow her business and now had the honor of photographing her growing family.

Not only was I able to photograph the colors properly, but the added brightness also allowed these images to be very on-brand as well. I could have gone the natural light method for photographing, but preserving the contrast of the flowers was deeply important to my client. Reds and pinks – when overexposed (AKA light and airy) can wash out the detail. Whites are hard to photograph as well for this reason.

While I absolutely love what I do, sometimes I enjoy photographing for myself.  What I mean by this is that I enjoy photographing beautiful things just to photograph them.
