…And yet another “big” wedding of 2020! So many feels around this couple and this wedding. I remember talking to the bride two months before her wedding, “Will everything be ok?”
“Yes,” I replied, you are marrying your best friend. That will make everything be better.
Instead of rescheduling, this couple went through and got married on 10/10/20 and boy was it perfect. Every detail that went into this wedding had a special meaning.
Jen and Jake got engaged in Scotland so Scotland themes were woven into their wedding. From Hunter green to whiskey imported from Scotland, this couple found a way to celebrate Scottish heritage here in the US.
Can we take a second to admire the hunter green bridesmaid dresses from Evening Collective. STUNNING.
Since this couple didn’t opt for a first look, reactions were captured as Jen and Jake saw each other for the first time. Their lovely guests looked upon the mountains of Virginia with a floral arch behind the couple. This would make for the perfect backdrop for all formals.
I think I would up a lot to be able to photograph this wedding all over again. It was beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable.
Jen- you were a classic bride. You designed your dress with such elegance that was only suited for you.
I miss working with these two, but so happy they got married and their day was as lovely as they are.
