One theme that prominent throughout the day was family. Carolina and Cesar’s wedding was a celebration of themselves and the completion of their family. Since Carolina was raised by her grandmother, she asked if she could do a first look with her grandmother. This was a first for me, but I think brides who are close to their grandmothers should do this more often.

While I absolutely love what I do, sometimes I enjoy photographing for myself.  What I mean by this is that I enjoy photographing beautiful things just to photograph them. Wedding days are lovely, filled with emotions, gorgeous details, and love….but I need time to focus (literally) on learning new skills and trying new techniques with […]

Wedding 2/2 on December 12!! Like Kristin and Reid, Judy and Billy decided they couldn’t wait and wanted to get married in 2020. They decided on a smaller wedding as well with catering brought in by Ridgewell’s in Maryland. What I loved the most about this intimate gathering the happiness seen in all guests’ faces. […]

Surrounded by 30 guests, these two said I do and enjoyed a lovely, laid back dinner party. Congratulations, Tori and Jason. Wishing you two the happiest of marriages and welcome to the area!

I would say this wedding was a smashing success all around. Everyone had a wonderful time, especially the bride and groom. I’m going to miss working with these two for sure.

Today marked my third “big” wedding of 2020! And I honestly felt like I was a new photographer all over again. Instead of a consolidated day, I had another 8-hour day! It felt foreign at first, but I quickly got into the groove. Right after COVID came, I received an email from this couple’s wedding […]

Their April wedding then turned into a September date and then finally May of 2021. BUT, they decided to get married with a select number of friends and family and planned for a later celebration because they couldn’t wait. And I didn’t blame them one bit. I actually encouraged this from the get-go.

Sticking to their second date – and their ceremony venue – Jasmine and Andrew said I-do in Jasmine’s childhood church.

Like so many couples in 2020, Dawne and John were greatly affected by COVID restrictions and venue restrictions. They decided to stick with their original wedding date in May after postponing it to September. We all thought for the best, right?

Danielle and Ruben decided on forever mid-July and postponed their bigger wedding celebration until next year. Completely with a first look, these two started their day together and walked into the start of their new beginning as husband and wife.
