People are planning 2021 still and I am here for that. Well, kinda. I am almost booked up.

Recently, I welcomed Evelyn and Dylan to the SKP family. These two beautiful souls are planning a destination wedding here in Virginia all the way from California and were in town for wedding planning! We all held our breath when the forecast for this week did not look promising weather-wise, but sure enough, the sky gods smiled upon us and we were blessed with some soft light for their engagement session.

This couple wanted something rustic and outdoors for their engagement session, I recommended 48 Fields to them as it was a good location that could provide mountains and greenery. Also, since I photograph at this venue so much, I knew all the good spots 🙂

We had a great time strolling around the venue while taking photos. What the couple valued the most – and what they wanted in their photos – was natural-looking photos. They were incredibly happy with the outcome and so was I. Especially that soft light in the beginning.
