They made it!!
Carolina and Cesar are married and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! Considering their original wedding date was suppose to be in March, I was worried with early May would be like. It is so hit or miss with weather in Northern Virginia.
One theme that prominent throughout the day was family. Carolina and Cesar’s wedding was a celebration of themselves and the completion of their family. Since Carolina was raised by her grandmother, she asked if she could do a first look with her grandmother. This was a first for me, but I think brides who are close to their grandmothers should do this more often. This was a wedding moment where I cried as I took images. I’m an empath, so I could feel all the emotions – the years before it – leading up to this moment. It was a beautiful one for sure.
The guests enjoyed the warm spring day and…the breakfast buffet. We need to normalize brunch weddings, brides! For real!! Kevin’s Catering had a divine spread including a custom omelette option. After the cake cutting it was dancing and Carolina and Cesar left for the airport for their Disney honeymoon.
What a great morning at 48 Fields! Looking very much forward to spending majority of my 2021 wedding season here.
Congratulations, Carolina and Cesar! You were wonderful to work with.
