Mornings like these will make me miss living so close to the District and the charming surroundings that makes up the history of Northern Virginia. In case you haven’t been following along, Stefanie Kamerman Photography is packing up and heading west to Winchester, Virginia! While photographing in and around DC isn’t out of the question, my move to Winchester will expand my market to the greater Virginia areas.

Cat and Ryan met at the University of Maryland during their studies. Cat – being given the option to study else where – decided to stay behind and enviably said Yes to Ryan in more ways than one.

Since Alexandria is a city so near and dear to these two – and they wanted that historic vibe – we met up near the Waterfront and made our way around a couple of blocks and wrapped up near the arena. Their Old Town Alexandria engagement session turned out to be everything Cat wanted: greenery with cobblestone.

Cat brought two outfits, but we spent more time with her first outfit, because it was GORGEOUS! We had a great time and without a doubt their photo at Kesiwck Vineyards next year will be equally amazing.

Congratulations, you two, on your engagement. Next year will be a blast for sure.
